The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Warriors Group

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a colorful mix of characters, and a gripping narrative showcasing angels, evil spirits, and sinister influences increasing in strength within the urban setting.

Warning: Spoilers for the latest installment of the new season lie ahead.

The Warrior Group Revealed

Episode 3 finished on a major cliffhanger and revealed the initial group of characters who will separate from the central cast to embark on their own adventure, distinct from the remaining groups.

This warrior group features Teor (played by Travis Willingham), Thimble (Laura Bailey), the fierce warrior (the cast member), Wicander (Sam), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).

Why Split the Party?

With 13 cast members, it was clear from the start that keeping everyone at one table would be unfeasible.

That’s why, the first four episodes of the new season serve as an Introduction, intertwining the characters’ stories before branching into three separate parties: Soldiers, Schemers, and Questers.

Characteristics of the Combat Party

As described by the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for participants who enjoy a classically intense battle-oriented gameplay experience where non-violent answers are scarce.

Initially, figures such as the squeamish cleric Wicander might look out of place, but the developments of the latest installment make it clear why these particular heroes are best suited for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

To begin with, the team has a clear idea where to proceed after a brutal opening clash with the antagonists.

A former ally of the deceased character—whose death initiated the narrative’s action—used the enemy for his own means, invading the hidden lair, assaulting the rogue, and taking all the powerful objects to dispose of.

The traitor then settled his liabilities and ran away to a fortified location in the northern region, above the city, with Cyd hot on his heels.

Personal Motivations

Moreover, each character has a personal reason to depart the urban setting:

  • The rogue, as the close ally and closest confidant, desires retribution.
  • The knowledgeable figure is familiar with Timmony and cautions that it is a nasty place.
  • Tyranny and The cleric, having disobeyed his family’s wishes to execute Teor and instead saved him, have no other options.
  • Yet, their status as important members in the powerful family could enable the party reach locations they usually can’t.
  • Moreover, The grateful character vowed a life debt to Wicander for his rescue and will now accompany him anywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Finally, all of them are wanted by the powers that govern the city for a range of causes, making lingering locally too risky:

  • Thimble and The character are known criminals.
  • The warrior and Wicander betrayed the powerful family and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by the family.

This means them no alternative but to travel to Timmony in quest for the antagonist.

Upcoming Developments

According to the recent installment’s Cooldown, we discover that the warrior group will not appear the following episode, leaving the rest of the players to assemble the Seekers and Schemers groups.

Viewers can anticipate discovering which characters will be where in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, streaming live on October 24.
